Employ the use of autoresponders to:

1. Send articles. People like great informative content and because it's free you will build trust and credibility. If the article is written well, you provide enough information to make them want more and click througH to your website. This means you are increasing traffic which in turn will increase your sales potential.

2. Provide an email course. You can set the frequency of each lesson in the course and the autoresponder will send out each lesson to subscribers over the period set. It is beneficial to provide tips and quality information, you don't want the customer receiving a sales pitch with each lesson and be turned off on day one.

The content should do the sales work for you. You can highlight how your product can help with problems but not in a forced way, it should flow with the content and not stand out .

3. Distribute a newsletter. This will allow you to keep prospects up-to-date with new products, discounts or deals. Many people are motivated to buy when they have a chance of a good deal so this is a great way to keep in touch.

Newsletters will also allow you to build your reputation with the customer.

4. Offer a free trial. Many people may be tempted to buy your product but don't quite get round to making the purchase. Providing a free trial or sample will give potential customers a taster which should be enough to push them into purchasing.
